VPN in Australia

Bring Mozilla VPN to Australia. Mozilla already seems to have servers in Australia for this purpose but for some reason Australians can't sign up to the VPN service?

Love  Firefox have used it for many years. Absolutely welcome VPN security. But how does New Zealand get the update before Australia, or at least at the same time?

Still waiting for the Australian VPN... not sure what the go is. Apparently Mozilla even has Australian servers?

Received email from mozilla saying aus vpn now available.downloaded app but halfway through installation goes to "continue subscription on browser" which goes to initial vpn info page.no option to continue subscription.pain in the arse.

Hi Brian! Mozilla VPN PM here 🙂

Unlike in other geographies, subscriptions in Australia are only possible through the App Stores. I can tell you what's supposed to happen and you can tell me if it didn't happen like so for you (which would be a bug):

• Mobile flow: If you download the mobile app from either Google's or Apple's App Stores and log in with an account that doesn't have a Subscription, you should be shown the option to subscribe right there and then.
• Desktop flow: If you download the desktop app and log in with an account that doesn't have a Subscription, you should be told to go to the browser, where the Mozilla VPN homepage should open. In the Mozilla VPN homepage, the pricing section should tell you that you need to download the mobile app to Subscribe (and give you a QR code), taking you to the flow mentioned above.

We want to improve the Desktop flow such that instead of going to the browser to see the QR code, we show it to you directly in the desktop VPN app, cutting an extra (confusing) step.
