Status: In development

This would be good as it would make it transparent and very easy to find out what features and enhancements are being worked on. Ideally it would be something similar to what Microsoft has for Edge:

So I think it's definitely been more than 2 weeks now, and I don't see any hint of the roadmap anywhere. @mconca

Thanks for the nudge, we're still working on it.

@mconcai don't wanna rush you or something but can you place a link when it is done. Just take your time. And one more thing, is the roadmap gonna be for everything so stable/beta/nightly?

Eh, they've ghosted us on this one I think? Not something I expected from Mozilla but lmfao.

@kremlinbot not ghosted, we're here...let me follow up and ask around for any potential updates on this request.

sadly yes, it looks like we are ghosted. This is why Firefox is losing users!

Hey all,

We have started this page: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Platform/2023PlannedWork

Please note that's is still a bit of a draft and being worked on.

I was expecting release notes from mozilla connect "in development" stuff. The stuff what i see know is stuff that i think most people don't understand or care about but that are my thoughts. Maybe they will add it in the future.(i hope so)

Hi @Jon , thanks for that. I agree with @Jeppie though. The notes on that webpage are very difficult for the average person to understand in my opinion. I was hoping for something in plain English that would allow people to see what sort of new features are being worked on with estimated dates/version of deployment.

This seems pretty much the same as the page @mconca provided in 2022. My response to that post still stands.

I guess what is asked in this idea could be combined with the Mozilla's Specification Positions website: https://mozilla.github.io/standards-positions

It's a pity that https://platform-status.mozilla.org doesn't work any more (more info about this on Reddit).

We want a beautiful and clear roadmap page. The goal is to demonstrate a clear plan for the development of the project.
