 - or if this is in registry, task schedule it every hour to set to "always ask"?

It's annoying

Then, in your profile, delete the file handlers.json or rename the file (for example) handlers.json-old
Next, start Firefox

Actions will be reset to zero
Next, perform your checks

handlers.json will be automatically recreated
