OHhh... I'm doing this on my PC, phone isn't a concern.(just seen your post, belated for sure)

I've tried every imaginable way to change the 'Background Tab' color, NADA.Oddly the 'FireFox Color' page has loads of empty space to add check boxes & lines.It should be a simple matter of adding to "Advanced colors" a 'Tab Hover' color.
