zoom percentage freedom for PDF

Status: New idea

pdf viewing, especially for horizontal view, desperately needs a much freer zoom percentage control. Ideally custom values could be selected and stored.

Modern monitors can easily display 3 pages across but the zoom options in firefox do not permit this.

You have fine grain control if you pinch to zoom (either with a laptop touchpad or with a touchscreen).

We could consider changing the field as well to allow it, we need to come up with a good UI.
