When downloading zip or rar file error not opening

When we downloading .rar file the file is downloaded  but it is missing the file extension so it is not opened by any program in windows 10. So i put an extension mark with .zip or .rar and then opened the file with their respective program. New firefox is main problem when downloading PDF files immediately very fast and opened immediately ON THE SAME TAB which is working tab with closing that particular tab and only displayed downloaded pdf on the screen. So important tab is suddenly closing and viewing pdf is most disadvantage. Please take necessary steps to correct this type of bugs.

Hmm, I don't know why the file extension would be missing. Does this problem only occur in Firefox?
