Halleo,

Vielen Dank

Björn

Hello, Previously, when reading emails with the "N" key, the focus would jump from one unread email to the next, and the cursor would also visibly jump further in the folders. Since the last update, the cursor on the left no longer jumps forward in the folders - at least you can't see it because the cursor in the folders is outside the display area. Please do this so that you can see in which folder you are currently reading a message. How can you hide the info area at the bottom right of the email preview by default? Currently I still have to click on the i in the circle so that not so many rows of headers are visible. It would be nice if you could set it so that there was only 1 title line (sender/date or something like that). Thank you Bjorn

In May 2024 that problem still exists: When i jump from one unread message to another (with N), then the "Cursor/focus" in the folders-window jumps from one folder to the next - so I see, where I am in the folder-structure. But when I press "N" at the bottom of the folders and last unread mail, then the next unread message in the "New incoming mails-Folder" is displayed on the right - but on the left the cursor in the folders does not jump and focus to this folder.

Why does this work in the down-direction - but not at the bottom with skipping to the first unread message in the new-incoming-messages-folder? Perhaps it is not in all installations - but my Thunderbird does not focus on the  new-incoming-messages-folder again, when I skip with N from one to the next unread message.

In former years that worked well - but in 2023 this feature was lost...
