When having to work with lots of requests it's easy to get lost. Some kind of manual/automatic color or favorite (stars) setting to rows in Network tab would be very useful. A filter by colors or favorite would be also nice. So once you find the requests you need you don't lose them anymore.

Also, I would be grateful for a JSON only filter.

Yes, I like the use case. Could we somehow improve the existing "Filter URLs" feature instead of introducing a new thing?

Are you thinking about introducing a support for new mime-type?

Like: "mime-type:application/json"

@Honza thanks for answering.

Maybe, after adding that color or "importance level" it could be also filtered. I often prefer to see all the requests in the original order but I would like to highlight just some of them, specially if they are similar.

Yes, I just discovered the mime-type filtering after sending the message, sorry. 😅

But anyway, adding buttons for custom filters would be nice. For example, I would probably add a JSON button next to XHR. Some defaults to be added by drag & drop would be very useful. Or better, apply a filter and then click to "Save filter" next to the search box, which will add a new button after the default HTML, XHR... And then, "Edit", "Rename" or "Remove" filter would be also possible.
