Restore Session Fail-Safe

Hello! First time poster, very long time Mozilla user.

Having between 5-10 tabs open - accidentally X out of the window. History, Restore tabs --> I accidentally closed the window again. When you reopen, you do NOT have the opportunity to restore your session. I do know each page is findable in my history, just wanted to bring some attention to it. I've done it accidentally a handful of times, I am wondering if it affects anyone else too!

In 2 months, my session has just failed to restore in the regular version of Firefox 2 times.  Once on 2 different devices.  The second time just happened this morning.  I think Mozilla need to implement some kind of snapshot or time machine to gives the user a chance to go back when the session restore fails.

On this topic, I think Mozilla can gain major points with users if there is some way to restore a previous session when the normal option that has been set forever fails to restore.  I will try to restore one of the sessions in the red box manually.

Also, Waterfox and Chrome has so far never failed to restore my previous session.
The failures always happen on Tumbleweed.
