I only recently discovered that the reader view has text-to-speech capabilities. Samantha Enhanced is my new best friend. She would be even more "enhanced" if I could get the window to stay on my screen as I scroll, out of the way of the text. This is anecdotal, but a lot of people, including myself, who like to have things read to them, also have trouble staying on task, and often need to rewind, pause, skip ahead, and so on. I commend Firefox for making this easier than most other softwares (CC: acrobat!) via a simple menu, but having them stay on the screen like a media player (spotify, WMP, quicktime, youtube, VLC) would be really, really useful.
