To have a setting in the Firefox browser for desktop and mobile to always resize the window for every single tab.

This will prevent users from being tracked by website that collect the window size.

The Tor browser has this feature already, would be nice feature to optionally have in Firefox that can be enabled.

Well do I have good news for you! We have been expanding our Finger Printing Protections and have already rolled out canvas randomization (our name for this Random Window Size Setting) on desktop and Android with the intension of having it be a default protection just like TCP!

@wildcardcameron

Is this Finger Printing Protection service built into Firefox and is not an addon/extension? And will this feature randomise the window size for every single tab?

This is built into core Firefox. I believe it's at least per session if not per tab. You can test this on https://amiunique.org/
