 @Kerim did you edit the screenshot? Or have you gotten it working yourself?

@glibg10bI changed the app's dark theme colors with APK Editor, they wrote how to do it on Reddit.

We can agree that many people are waiting for a native Black Amoled theme

@Jon https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/firefox-android/pull/1950

You need to ping back UI/UX team of Moz, as the PR already gone to limbo many times from the community. The PR in Fennix already great and it should be merged directly without waiting like this..

community already work on it, and Moz team broken structure cause it hard to merge the PR..

Yes! Pages of requests for this feature , going back for years now. And nobody seems to be committed to it. So It doesn't seem to be likely to happen for Focus (Android) in the near future.

Considering the developers haven't been able to address a true Night Mode in Focus I would not recommend Samsung Internet if you areconcerned about nonetizing your browsing. And Kiwi might be a different concern since it's owned by a small company based in China, and obligated to the PRC regime as well...

Brave does offer a night mode. Currently experimental. And a slew of privacy and security features. But its has these shortcomings compared to Firefox Focus.

If you like the Mozilla engine, It's yet another Chromium fork. developed by a for profit private company U..S based. And the company has a strong interest in cryptocurrency and advertising.  It's also a large app. Not compact and speedy like Focus.

So my point here is that Focus has a unique, worthwhile niche. Especially since Mozilla is not owned by a for-profit entity for mining customer data-- sketchy overseas company who is only offering a  product for free because they're siphoning your Online credentials out a backdoor.

The only question is how engaged are the developers for this wonderful project?

>>>I'mkeep using Samsung Internet on my phone instead of Firefox (thus being deprived of device sync) because Samsung (and Kiwi) are the only two browswers on Android that bothered offering a proper Dark Theme using black.
