Preserve expand/collapse state of Folder Pane when dragging and dropping emails into folders

When the user clicks-and-drags on an email and moves it to a collapsed folder in the Folder Pane, the folder is expanded to allow the user navigate to a sub-folder. It would be nice if those folders then collapse again as per the state before the clicking-and-dragging of the email. This will prevent a few unnecessary mouse clicks if the user prefers to keep those folders always collapsed even after moving emails into them, or if the user accidentally navigated to them.

In 128.1.0esr It drives me nuts that after the moved-to folder has usefully opened to allow drag-drop of an email there, the folder immediately closes afterward so I can't access it to check things unless I manually open it again. Is there a setting to prevent this - it certainly didn't happen in previous versions.
