Based on the sample hub, it does not appear Hubs are designed to simplify the layout and accessibility of information. Because to read something written on the wall you need to navigate there and position camera. There should be a thumbnail hyperlink to auto-align the user.

Thanks for your comment and feedback! I'd love to know more about your thoughts on what the ideal experience would be like as a user seeking to engage with the information in a space. It sounds like there's an opportunity for us to help people who are building spaces understand better practices for presenting information and navigating, as well as improve our user tools for interacting with content.

We do have features that may help with what you experienced, and I'm wondering if there's a configuration of them that would solve the pain point you identified in the demo Hub. For example, we have the ability for the author of a scene to add navigable waypoints in, so that you don't have to manually reposition to find content. It's also possible (although hidden in menus) to create local copies of images that are posted in the room, and right-clicking on some types of media allows you to view it up-close, but we definitely know that there's a lot we can do to improve the discoverability of those features, and will take your feedback into consideration for navigation in the next iteration of the demo room!

Great suggestion! One way we can achieve something similar in Hubs is by using waypoints to orientate the position and rotation of the camera. Waypoints can be accessed by holding space bar on desktop or creating links in room to them like this: https://twitter.com/MattBCool/status/1613979888268238848

Using this method, you can set up your space to have clickable areas that will align the user to specific media 😊
