When reading short incoming message, the end of the message is far from the bottom. Attachment link is at the left bottom, very often I am not aware of its existence. So please move the link to the top.

This feature would make things more user friendly for sure, especially for more casual users. For example my elderly relatives, who otherwise are rather IT-skilled given their age, have always difficulties getting to attachments, since they are not logically placed for show up at the header pane.

Now the auxiliary mail info is sort of split into two, with a huge gap in between. And to make things even worse, the attachment is displayed as only text on a plain background, without any functional element showing that there is something clickable there. Upon mouse hover something then shows up. But there is NO visual hint for functionality before that!

So the message pane GUI looks like so, illustraed in text:

-------------------------------------
Header info (from, to subject, etc.
-------------------------------------
...

<long message body here>

...

...
<message content still here>

...

...

--------------------------------------------

And another improvement on the same go: make the attachment visually show as functional UI element. There is no indication now, until you hover mouse on it.

So there are two usability pains here:
1) Attachment pane is too far apart from the other "message metadata"
2) The attachment does not itself appear as functional element
