Status: New idea

I use Ctrl+Tab all the time to switch between recent tabs. Absolute killer feature - having to use chrome/edge without it is awful.

Unfortunately it only shows 7 tabs by default. Windows 10 shows (at least) 15 windows in the Alt+Tab dialog.

Would be nice if we could change this, I'd be fine with it being multi-row too!

Cheers

I agree.

I've been following this bug report since 2017: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1418178

Alt+TAB on Windows and Gnome doesn't not have an arbitrary limit. Neither should Ctrl+TAB on Firefox.

Thanks @Robin1 happy to see it being tracked (although last activity was 2 years ago)!

+1, I would like the tab switcher to be able to switch to tabs beyond the 7th. I find this limitation to be a problem frequently.

Even edge has it in three  rows!

Any news on this one? I use Sidebery for managing my tabs but I have too many tabs open simultaneously and it can impair my ability to focus, so some times I close the Sidebery panel and rely on Ctrl+Tab entirely. This helps me stay focused, but being able to see only 7 tabs in the tab switcher is often a limitation. I would like the number of switcher tabs to be a user-configurable parameter (I'd personally set this to 14 myself). Thanks!
