There are a lot of settings in about:config, but I don't know what they do, and I haven't found information about them from Mozilla's website. I hope that some documentation should be detailed enough to include every setting item
This would be nice to have. Have a location that provides documentation on each config option available. If it were me it would be similar to a "man" page for linux where its just built into firefox so it can be accessed without needing to go somewhere else.
Maybe add a property that is a description or documentation per config entry. Gives developers the ability to write their heart out on what it does and what to expect from different options.
Not going to happen. They have had 20 years to do it and didn't because prefs are constantly getting added and removed. It is not possible to keep it up to date.
