Floating critical emails always at top of list

How about a "Float" tag that ALWAYS floats to the top of the email list?

I usually have 4 or 5 items that should always appear of the top of the list but can't.

Setting a new tag and always doing a quick filter is kludgy. Why not a "Float" setting, always on top and changeable or deleted at a single click?

I achieve this by starring important e-mails and sorting by starred (with secondary sorting by date). For all other puproses star could be useful I rely on tags. This system worked for me for the past few years.
