Hi guys,

currently when saving a new bookmark on Firefox for Android, it saves it to the last location I used on any my synched devices. For exemple if I save a "How to grow potatoes" in the folder "Garden" on my pc, the next bookmark I'll save on Firefox for Android will immediately go to "Garden". No matter about what it is. That's bad. I "loose" bookmarks with this if I don't pay attention on the location where it goes.

Could it be possible to change this? We have this special mobile device folder. Why not saving them every time there?

Best regards,

Mambobuzzz

Hello,

I've been using Firefox on Windows and Android (with bookmarks synchronization) for sometime now (5 years +) and this problem appeared last year ( Q4). Never had a problem before.

The other problem that is more annoying for me is the bookmarks sorting on Firefox for Android. It looks like it is sorted by "date of last usage". This is a real problem. Your folders stored on your computer in the desired order are mixed with the bookmark you saved on your mobile device. It is a mess. No problem at all on the computer...

Once again, this problem appeared lately. There must have been some thing changed about synhronization.

Thanks for reading 🐵

Hi Arnaud, absolutely. The way bookmarks in Android works is pretty messy. Yesterday i wondered how much "mobile" bookmarks i have lost somewhere in all the bookmarks i have... But the sorting is also a problem yes.
