Firefox Version Update

Can you add an option in the menu of Firefox in order to update the version from the old version?

It is difficult to discover on your own, but right now, if you want your Firefox to check for updates, you go to

menu > Help > About Firefox

Ubuntu notifies me about a new version of Firefox when it is available but I am unable to check for version updates directly from Firefox
