It is possible to sync bookmarks between Desktop-App and Android-App.

Unfortunately, calling up the bookmarks in the Android app is very time-consuming compared to the Desktop-App

Is it possible to set shortcuts to bookmark folders on the Android-App Homepage? Shortcuts to bookmark folders on the Homepage would greatly enrich the android app.

Bookmarks in Firefox mobile app

Hello, I like organise valuable websites in bookmarks while working on computer. But it's very difficult to get to bookmarks while using Android app, because you need tap very many buttons to get to bookmarks. Please add option to add bookmarks to home page from settings in Android app. I would like use bookmarks instead dublicating collections and shortcuts. Thank you, and good luck!

I have joined this community for exactly this problem. Accessing desktop toolbar bookmarks on mobile currently requires too many clicks, as follows:

1) Click the three dots on the bottom right of the browser.

2) Click Bookmarks.

3) Click Desktop Bookmarks.

4) Click Bookmarks Toolbar.

I personally don't want to distinguish between desktop and mobile bookmarks anyway, instead I like to have the same syncronized bookmarks for both platforms.

So, as easily accessible my desktop toolbar bookmarks are, as easily accessible should they be on mobile.

I hope this makes sense to you guys.

Sync of the bookmarks  with the desktop is great feature but UX experience of accessing them on mobile is really a pain. Looking forward for the improvement!

Opposed to "Shortcuts", bookmarks also have the benefit of getting synchronized.

Many many years ago, Firefox for Mobile had a single bookmark folder only, called "Mobile Bookmarks". This could be used for new tabs. Rearrangment was possible using the desktop FF because this folder was in sync.

As everyone can see, this was clumsy, but it provided many things which "shortcuts" can't. The entire concept does not convince me. Stay with bookmarks, please. They are the more powerful concept.

Especially the navigation with NelliTab on desktop is so good, I don't know why people are not as interested in improving this on Android
