Add a tool to export/import user profile. I can already do this manually but it would be simpler if there were just a button to click. This would allow for easily copying an entire profile with all add-ons, bookmarks, settings, etc. to multiple computers.

I am 82, not tech savvy, and have been given instructions to copy my Firefox profile or bookmarks to another PC, but copying the profile is much too complicated for me.

Please add an Import/Export tool to the existing tool list and have sympathy with us seniors who are not able to follow complicated procedures.  I just got a second PC and would like Firefox to work identically on both.

Thanks.

Hello

Take a look at
https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/discussions/upgrading-your-computer-and-moving-your-firefox-data/m-p/...

The most important, that's the contents of your profile folder
From time to time, save the contents of your profile folder

On your first PC
Goto your https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data#w_how-do-i-find-my-prof...
Then shut down Firefox
Next, copy the entire contents of your profile folder to an external support (e.g. a USB key )
Of course, if your usb key contains other data not related to Firefox
Then create a folder on your USB key to store your Firefox data backup

That way, if ever the need arises, you'll have a backup (e.g.) on an external support, such as a USB key

On your second PC
Goto your https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data#w_how-do-i-find-my-prof...
Then shut down Firefox
Then delete the entire contents of your profile folder
Then copy all your Firefox data saved on your USB key to your profile folder
Then start Firefox and see

Of course, you can wait for other, complementary opinions
