I would like a similar option to what Cookie AutoDelete provides where cookies to relevant websites get deleted when closing a tab (after x seconds). And have a white list of pages to keep cookies, and a grey list for cookies for a single session.

@JimBthere is, but this idea is about that it clears when a tab is closed.

@VeganFoxwhy? It have same purpose, it doesn't make sense to clear cookies everytime you close tab, it would make more sense to delete all cookies when firefox close, it would cause firefox to operates more in the background, it would use more memory, it would more heavy, in the end would cause firefox more sluggish

I'd prefer cookies from certain sites to remain the shortest as possible time on the system. I have been using Cookie Autodelete before, and it did not make it feel sluggish. I am not saying this should be the default either, it would simply be nice to have the option.
