I've been using arc browser as an alternative to FF, and they have a really helpful feature that is a keyboard shortcut to copy the current page link without losing focus from the page and no need of changing your flow.

I've been looking for alternatives, and the closer I found is to execute command +  L and command + C, but even if I don't need to touch the mouse or tab key to copy the link, I lose focus and is not the best experience.

Another nice detail on this functionality is when you use their shortcut (shift + command + C), they remove all trackers from the URL

@AnonymousHow do you set up custom keyboard shortcuts? I can't find the settings for that anywhere.

You can find the addons `about:addons` => `cog wheel` => `Manage Extension Shortcuts`

Hope it helps

Add my vote to this feature. Copy Tabs looks nice but I don't think you can set a Cmd+ Shift + C to a Firefox extension.

Yeah, sadly at the moment you can't overwrite some specific built-in shortcuts.

but AFAIK, there is already an issue here on connect change this,  so maybe this will be possible in the future. In the meantime, you can still use almost every other key combination and function keys.

I think the shortcut to use is secondary, what I expect is to have a simple way to copy URLs, ideally removing all trackers from that

I put together a web extension called "Flink":

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/flink-by-david/

This provides a button in the address bar which copies the URL to the clipboard. If you right click on the button, you see additional options for copying formatted HTML links using the page title, selected text, or site-contextual formatting. Let me know what you think!
