clipboard manager embedded in Thunderbird

A clipboard manager embedded in TB would be useful.
A sort of customizable service allowing users to pre-write text blocks and paste them directly in my emails, via shortcuts/hotkeys.
on WIN I use Ditto, which works perfectly, but unfortuynately it does not run on other platforms.
on Linux I use(d) "Clipping for TB" extension, but it stopped working after TB updates, and had a few issues with shortcuts possibility (only a limited range of shortcuts available after activation)
ClipX and other similar alternatives do not manage shortcuts and hotkeys so well

Something allowing email composing from an extended clipboards, to speed up using preformatted text blocks, possibly syncable once the Sync service is in place, would be great.
