Automatically add newly created folder to recent folder list

Often, when I file messages, I create a new folder. It would be nice if this newly created folder would automatically be added to the recent folder list. Not really urgent, but nice to have.

Thunderbird recent folders addition

Thunderbird provides the ability to copy/move an email to Recent Folders.

I would like to suggest that any newly created subfolder be automatically added to Recent Folders.  The usual reason for creating a new subfolder is to store a message I'm currently viewing.

Would it be possible when you create a new folder in ThunderBird that that folder is also placed in the Recent list. Usually I have an emails waiting to go in the new folder and I have to trace down the folder tree to find the new location.

We usually deal with large folder list & sub folders. Would be a great feature of we display newly added folders or sub folders to the recent list.

This will make it easier, user friendly for the end user to organize & move/copy emails to the recently added folder instead of navigating through the entire folder hierarchy .
