It would be very nice to set google's "web" search as my default search, as it gets rid of a lot of the extra gunk that's clogging up google's main search engine. This can be obtained by adding udm=14 to the query string, like so:

https://www.google.com/search?udm=14&q=<query>

There doesn't seem to be a way to add default search engines, from comments online this is due to security considerations. Although if there is a way that I can add this then please do tell.

I had this setting and the AI results went away for a couple of months but now they are back.

Switched to duck duck go but I would like to go back to Google.

Google with the "?q=%s&udm=14" addition might be called @web in the search engine shortcuts, after the option choice "web" at the google search site.
