Thunderbird needs a "Get All Messages" button next to the "Get Messages" button at the top of the left-hand pane of servers & folders.  It should function the same as the Shift F5 key press or the "All Accounts" options on the "Get New Messages For" submenu option of the File menu on the main dropdown menu.

This would be particularly helpful for people operating Thunderbird with one hand when they have many e-mail accounts.  A single button on the surface of the main window would be much easier to use the trying to fish out the operation from the File menu using the mouse or trying to press shift-F5 with one hand.

Making moves

I am against this. If there were infinite developer resources, then I wouldn't care. But there are so many important items that are not being done, and important bugs that are not being fixed, that adding this to the backlog seems an inappropriate use of resources. There is a right-click already that accomplishes the need.

For your information, it's not because (for example, beta 121.0b6) that the concern will also only be resolved in (this is just an illustration) with Thunderbird 121 release
Beta, this is a pre-prod, a concern resolved in beta, perhaps resolved with one of the next Thunderbird release updates (for example) 115 wait and see
