Accessibility: Audio equaliser (equalizer)

Hi. Like a few people my age, hearing starts to go and higher pitches are hard to hear. Thus most sounds/music can end up sounding "muffly" and "unclear".  Mid range frequencies (vocal range) and higher frequency sounds need often to be increased.  I know i can do that in my sounc card settings or in VLC for offline stuff,  but can there please be a way of altering pitch/tone from within FF itself. Please.
