Method to move Bookmark Toolbar to new computer

Making moves

I have finally found a way to copy Bookmark Toolbar from old PC to new PC. Bookmark Toolbar is stored in file places.sqlite. It is a "Hidden Folder" in Windows so be sure you have option to Show Hidden Files checked in Windows File Explorer. Click on Mozilla Help then More troubleshooting information. Look on left side for Profile Folder. Copy that location. Close all Firefox Windows. Navigate to the Profile Folder location. Copy the profile.sqlite file from the computer that has your working Bookmark Folder to a USB Drive. Insert the the USB drive in your new or other computer. Navigate to the profile folder. Delete the profile.sqlite file and copy/paste the profile.sqlite file from the USB Drive. Launch Firefox and Bookmark Folder should be there.

Hi, you may want to bring favicons.sqlite at the same time. It's the companion file to places.sqlite that stores the site icons for your bookmarks and history. (Obviously you can live without those icons, but they're "nice to have.")

More info on what all those files are for: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/recovering-important-data-from-an-old-profile

And last but not least, Sync could help in this situation.
