How do you set the DEFAULT fonts for READING and WRITING Thunderbird emails.
As they are the font is waaaay too small to read. See attached.
The instructions found on line say to to "Tools->Options... "
That does not exist.
I have been using Thunderbird for many, many years and with my new HP with Windows 11, there is no way to set the default font size to be readable by humans.
WILL SOMEONE PLEASE POST the correct way to do that.... other than holding the Control button and scrolling with the mouse?

Same problem here. I've been super happy with Thunderbird for years, but I think the last update went berserk.
Am I the only one where since that last update 102.2.2 (64-bit), the font sizes get confused? The font size sometimes varies when I read an email or make a reply to it. What I type myself is usually shown unreadably small, yet that font size is "normal". Portions of the text of the received mail do show correctly in the same window. Zooming in helps, but it is inconvenient to have to do this for every mail.
All possible settings do not improve things, on the contrary.
- In the settings for writing an email, the font size is set to normal.
- In the advanced settings, I experimented with "layout.css.devPixelsPerPx", again no improvement.
I can't find a solution on the mozilla site.
I am working with Windows 11 Home, Version 21H2
