I want to set a different default search engine for Windows and Private Window, which Firefox doesn't have at the moment, but I think it's necessary. By the way, I hope that Firefox will add the Brave search engine to the list of search engines in Firefox, which is also a search engine that focuses on privacy.

Potentially similar idea here: Allow different search engines for default and private mode

@wutongtaiwan if this aligns with your request, we can merge the two threads together to keep the conversation focused in one space. Just let me know 😃

In addition to browser.search.separatePrivateDefault.ui.enabled
Maybe ? try browser.urlbar.update2.engineAliasRefresh

@Agentvirtuel @Jon Thank you, it turns out that this feature is already available. I just don't understand why Mozilla doesn't show this feature in the browser settings. I thought Firefox didn't have this feature

Definitely need this feature, to have separate search engine preferences for normal and incognito browsing
