When this feature first appeared, it included Norwegian (bokmål), but now it is missing.

I assume this is due to https://github.com/mozilla/firefox-translations/issues/561 but it worked for me every time I tried it.

Can it be added back?

@MonstraGwe have not added Norwegian to the list of supported languages because it did not appear to meet our quality bar. We might revisit this decision after we collect more data about its quality. When you used it, were the translations correct?

You can access all models, even experimental ones, by using Firefox Nightly.

I don't remember how correct they were, but I think I will be okay with even a sub-par translation, as it is the only reason I keep chrome installed on my system.

I'm using firefox developer edition, can I enable them it trough a flag or something?

They are currently not available through developer edition, but they are available through Nightly (despite the name, it is pretty stable!).

Quick update...

Support for Norwegian translations is now being worked on.

As always, please continue sharing feedback and ideas for ways to improve the Firefox experience 🙌

So glad to hear that Norwegian is being worked on, it's the main reason I switch to chrome. (I live in Norway and am learning Norwegian, but definitely need help translating long sites)

Hi. Any way to add Norwegian manually to firefox? This is the main reason of me staying on chrome also. A broken translation is better than NO translation.

@J4Jad you can use Norwegian (only from Norwegian to other languages and not the opposite) by using Firefox Nightly.
