Auto-close tabs in iOS after one week

I like having the option to have tabs close automatically that I have not opened it in a week. My tabs get out of control on mobile and having to close every tab individually is tedious. Mobile iOS does not help with the fact the almost any link you click on opens a new tab automatically. They just start to add up quickly. And no... clicking "Close all tabs" isn't really convenient either because I still want to be able to see my recent tabs.

@Anonymous This looks great but extensions are not compatible with iOS.

100% agree with this suggestion. I don't personally need this, but I see family who I have recommended to use Firefox do not close tabs. Opening Firefox on their phone shows 99+ tabs open because they never close them.

Having the option to auto-close after X days, weeks, months would be great.

It would be nice to have an option to close old tabs rather than just have them in an archived area of the app.

This is the only feature keeping me in Mobile Safari, which has this option built-in. I'm a tab junkie as well, which works well on Desktop, but I can't be bothered to clean things up on mobile. Auto-closing them after a week or month would be fantastic.

I don't likl my pinned tabs auto-closing on my Mac iOS; it is maddening and frustrating to have re-open tabs I use everyday, only to have them closed, sometimes just a few minutes later.  I have two news sites, a weather site, a search site, fitness site, dog tracking site and 3 email sites open ALL THE TIME, and I dislike very much having to resort them and re-open them when I want to use them. I want a turn-off switch for this, please, for those who are not like first poster and can't close tabs they leave open. I WANT mine pinned and open, okay
