Would be really useful, especially for people that have their passwords changed regularly (you currently can't quickly check if a saved password is the correct one)

The other major browsers (and Win10) have this ability, I'm surprised it's not built-in to Firefox already.

@Staybank  I assume you refer to the reveal button inside password field? Yes, that's a good suggestion.

I've took the liberty to file a bug for future work.

Thank you!

Handy for those who don't know if ShiftLk/NumLk is on or off...

Hey all,

Good news...

In the latest Firefox release (112), right-clicking on password fields now includes an option to reveal the password—check out the Release Notes here.

A password reveal function was delivered in Firefox 112. And there's a context menu option enabled since (see work here).

Thanks so much and looking forward to continuing to collaborate with you all here on Mozilla Connect 🙌

The reveal password option is a great one but has a single flaw in it. So I locked my credentials with a master password but the reveal password option bypasses this security feature. Why have a master password feature if the reveal password option can bypass that unless I missed something and can demand that the reveal option prompt a master password input. Please help
