Why is the Russian text incomprehensible when translated into Russian?

Built-in Firefox 116 "browser.translations.enable" in about:config, when translating from English to Russian, changes the Russian text to incorrect from the Russian source text.

I realize your comment was from quite some time ago (before the official first release of Translations in Firefox), but I wanted to update you that as of Firefox 135, which released yesterday, we now officially support translations into Russian on Firefox for Desktop. 

Our models have changed significantly since the time of your post, and the quality of the output should be improved.
