Thunderbird 128.3.1esr (64-bit): Message list columns don't resize properly

Pseudalopex
Making moves

When I try to resize the columns in the message list, they don't resize properly. The movement for most columns goes both ways (i.e. both to the right and the left at the same time), which already is inconvenient. Only for the first column the resize action is one way. The last column can't be resized at all, I have to add a "dummy" column to be able to resize that one.

And now, since this version (or maybe one or two backwards) the columns don't resize properly at all anymore, in that it alway jumps a little backwards compared to the position I set it to. Very annoying when you want to read all the text in a specific column.

Could you please fix this behaviour (or tell me where I can toggle some switch)? And maybe add the ability to double click between columns to resize to the maximal needed size, like Excel (and other software that handles spreadsheets/tables) have been doing for ages.

Thank you,
A.

Hello

Is it this subject https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381821

For information purposes, beta, this is a pre-prod, a concern resolved in beta, may be resolved with one of the next Thunderbird release updates (for example) 128

Great! Looking forward to it...
