Session

Hi,

Why doesn't the firefox remember the tabs after closing and opening the software? And don't say me about the menu-history-blah-blah. Why should I restore the previous session everytime? The developers acts like they wouldn't use their own software.

Firefox's behavior of not remembering tabs after closing and reopening might be due to various factors, including browser settings, extensions, or potential glitches. While the "Restore Previous Session" option should work for retaining tabs, if it's not functioning as expected, it could indeed be frustrating. It's important to consider that browser updates and configurations can vary across users, and developers aim to address such concerns. Providing feedback to Firefox's support or community forums might help highlight this issue for potential improvements.

Hmm, you ticked the first box on the Settings page --

Startup
[x] Open previous windows and tabs

-- but Firefox ignores that and you have to use the History menu every time?

Very strange. You may want to post this problem on the Mozilla Support site. They have a team of support volunteers to troubleshoot malfunctions with your currently installed version of Firefox, while this site is focused on idea submissions for future versions of Firefox (looking ahead anywhere from 8 weeks to many months). Here's a link to the new question form (for Windows/Mac/Linux): https://mzl.la/3y1vQUQ
