Same here Program freezes, Something is changed during the updates.

Quick is not Quick anymore, even the results are not as it was.

Kudos. There's a noticeable drop in performance and more degradation compared to what it was before.

Same here. Been going on for several weeks with no noticeable response from developers in Forum. Very frustrating. This is a feature I use several times a day. Thinking of moving to Outlook if this doesn't get fixed though I've been a committed Thunderbird user for years.

Sorry for the difficulties.

Presumably you are using version 128.1.something.  Please post your results after using 128.2.0 which comes out later next week.

An additional issue now since the recent updates is that Quick Filter doesn'nt do what it used to Now is seems to be almost the same as "Search"

Previously you could quick filter on a sender, recipients subject etc and a  simple list of all emails would be displayed and the user could look at the list of emails displayed and choose the one of importance.

Also useful for manual archiving by dragging the emails in question

Please reinstate this very useful feature as the current quick filter seems to provide the same output as the Search option

I'm on ver 128.2.3esr

Avoid hitting the enter key - it is unnecessary

To fix Firefox freezing when entering text in the Quick Filter field, update Firefox, clear cache and cookies, disable extensions, or start in Safe Mode. If the issue persists, disable hardware acceleration or refresh Firefox to restore default settings while keeping bookmarks and passwords intact.

128.2.3 and to be honest, its better then it was. But still performance is not that what it was before.

Please have a look into this issue.
