This "feature" makes no sense.
It is inconsistent:
- you can close pinned tabs in the tabs list by clicking the associated cross
- however you cannot close pinned tabs with a single click in the tabs bar (no cross) -- which is exactly as it should be, the whole point of a pinned that is that you save it for later viewing, and it's important enough to you that you do not want to accidentally close it.
It unnecessarily clutters the tabs list:
- now it takes forever to scroll down the tabs list when you have a lot of pinned tabs
- when you unpin a tab, it now takes forever to locate it in the tabs list -- whereas before an unpinned tab would show up at the top of the tabs list, now it will end up wherever it was between all the pinned tabs and all the unpinned tabs... seriously, who on Earth thought it was a bright idea to restore that calamity which had thankfully been weeded out a couple of years ago??
Please, please, remove that (expletive) "feature", and never try to sneak it back in... it's a terrible "addition" and ruins much of the Firefox experience.
