My much-needed dark mode stopped working suddenly today. I've low vision and canNOT see white screen

Have tried everything I've been able to find on this topic, but most are not from 2024, and this JUST happened within the last hour or so. One search...fine. Another search a few minutes later? The website is delivered if full bright mode and I'm blinded. SO frustrated I am ready to ditch firefox completely and have used it exclusively and happily for years.

I am using Firefox 122.0.1. As of today, I no longer have a dark mode (Settings->General->Language and Appearances->Website appearance). Is there any way to restore dark mode?
