When entering a text into a URL search bar there is a list of firefox suggestions
99% of time they are exactly what i want (instead of google search)
How can i make it so when i enter the suggestion it will be prioritized over the google result instead?
In this image example:
- I want to type netlify
- instead of googling i want to just hit enter to go to my netlify dashboard
I searched for way to do this, but couldn't find working solution
This issue is caused by subdomains, but its still a annoying having to click it/tab to it
Anyone knows solution that would work 'globally' without having to setup like a shortcut (meaning 'netlify' -> url)

Hello Josh!
I have this checkbox checked by default, this means that did not help, but kudos for trying to help.
However ive unchecked the parent checkbox 'Enable search suggestions', now the firefox suggestions are on second row every time and i just need to hit down arrow to go there.
This is the best solution because now i can google and goto suggestions fast enough

Hey windrex,
You can preference Firefox Suggest results by unchecking this checkbox in your settings "Show search suggestions ahead of browsing history in address bar results". You can find it by navigating to about:preferences and then clicking on the "Search" section of your settings.
Just typing and hitting enter will still often commit a search, but it will bring that section up so clicking down arrow just once should land you on the first result in the suggest section, then clicking enter will direct you there.
