Complete rework of password management in Firefox Mobile

Making moves

Firefox Desktop allows you to create random passwords in the desktop version, as well as conveniently create Relay aliases. But in the mobile version everything is very poorly arranged, at least on android for sure.

  1. The password manager doesn't always appear in the keyboard.
  2. You can't remember a password, generate a password, or even create a Relay alias when registering with a third-party app.
  3. It happens that in the mobile version of Firefox even accounts created on sites inside browser are not remembered, and the dialog box at the bottom of the screen "save login and password for this site?" just disappears.

If there is something you can do about it, please do it.

All of these things would be so cool, and are desperately needed. Switching from Google's password manager, I'm regularly reminded about how awful the Firefox password manager experience is on Android. Android is my primary device and it needs a really polished password experience. That relay idea is amazing cuz even though I have the mobile extension installed, it doesn't work. Also needs better support for mobile apps, not just websites. Plus there's a couple other posts that talk about additional improvements and I feel we may want to merge all of these password manager mobile ideas into one?
