It would be pretty useful to provide some filtering ability when you have the "Thought-provoking stories" feed enabled on the Firefox home page so that users could filter out topics (like Politics for one) that they don't really want to see. Without filtering we get certain topics with certain individuals shoved down our collective throats with only manual "dismiss" capability control for that individual story, which doesn't persist, so you have to dismiss that stuff over and over and over again. I like getting the story feed since there is useful and interesting stories in it, but am on the verge of turning it off completely due to having to see unwanted topics and stories all the time. This should be a tailorable feature.
