Did you mean:

You should fire who are responsible for removing ublock Origin Lite from your addon store.

As the topic suggests.

Unless of course the decision came from the higher up. In that case you should clearly mention your intention so people (users) can move to another browser who actually respect them.

The developer pulled it after falling foul of Mozilla's pedantry and tin foil hattery.  You can still get it direct from his Git-Hub site.

See https://www.neowin.net/news/ublock-origin-lite-maker-ends-firefox-store-support-slams-mozilla-for-ho... for full story.

It was clearly done intentionally if you look at their today's (October 3rd, 2024) announcement regarding their new* Advertising policy.

But at least they have clearly mentioned their intention with Firefox and other products for Mozilla. I respect them for that. I like honest people and honest companies.

I will be on Safari for my browsing needs from now.

This is insane behavior. I wont even be sad when google loses their anti-trust search default case and mozilla loses 80% of their funding. My bet is it was a diversity hire who did the manual review.
