Translation tool doesn't respect my chosen language

Lately I've been getting some annoying suggestions with the new translation tool.

Firstly, I'd rarely use this tool as 90% of the time I use websites in languages I'm fluent in.

Secondly, Firefox is suggesting me to translate every Catalan website into Spanish, when, in fact, my browser is set to Catalan language always. It's clearly some geolocalisation thing but it's very annoying and I can't turn it off.

I'd appreciate if someone could help me disable this option or I'll soon stop using the browser all together as this is getting more annoying every day.

Thanks

Hi, you can use the "gear" button to stop the panel from auto-opening. See:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/website-translation#w_customize-translation-settings

Un-check "Always offer to translate" (or "Siempre ofrecer la traducción" ?)

Does that work on yours?

I just noticed that Catalan was added to the Translate feature in Firefox 126, released yesterday, so that would explain why it hasn't come up before...
