Remove the top banner and spread its functionality between the space with the pull down menus and the window tabs, to make the window panes larger and the program header space smaller.
Also, when filing read messages, that is causing the inbox message list to move to a messages further down, in stead of the next unread message, this may be different depending on whether the messages are being read newest to oldest or oldest to newest. This occurs even when the filing folder for the message is level with the reading pane not the message list pane.
