PDF annotations in Firefox 106 - Give us your feedback!

Hello!

I'm Romain from the product team. We just launched Firefox 106 that brings annotation capabilities to our pdf reader, built inside Firefox.

When pdf forms are not fill-able or when some quick notes are needed on pdf documents, you can now directly add text or draw on pdf documents before saving or sharing them.

How? See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/view-pdf-files-firefox-or-choose-another-viewer#w_annotate-pdf-...

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the feature to help us steer what's next for annotations on pdf documents.

Thanks for your participation!

It will be great if there is a list of annotations in the sidebar. So that we can track and find the annotations easily.

Yes, annotations in the sidebar would be useful.

Or failing that, at least a facility to "find next annotation" would be useful. As far as I can see, there isn't a way to do that.

Example: I have a 66 page PDF and I know I've made notes on four of the pages. Now I need to update the original document to incorporate those notes. But as far as I can see (and I've tried searching help, and looked at various third party "how to" guides), the only way to find those notes is to visually scroll through the annotated PDF.
