New versions and "Dark Themes"

Making moves

For a couple of decades, to ease eye-strain, I've used "Dark" screen color schemes: white letters on a black background.

Some Firefox revisions disrupt this. The latest disruption: 126.0.1. When I sign-in on programs, Firefox overlays in white, the sign-in fields for (username and password). So, I can't see what's there. This is disruptive.

Can this code be revised, so that these white overlays "go away"?

Hi, Firefox's built-in password manager -- which may show a drop-down with different logins you've saved for the current site -- should adapt to your browser theme. After fields are autofilled, they typically have a yellow background.

Is the problem with a different overlay, such as an add-on password manager or "Sign in with Google," etc.?
