Unfortunately, a trend over the years suggests that we want to impose more and more things on us and that this customizable aspect becomes a secondary factor. My idea here is just to remind that I, and hopefully other users, want to remind that just because a format or option is lightly used does not mean it should be removed. Customization should be a primary guideline in any evolution of Firefox.
You will have understood, I am thinking above all here of the abandonment of the compact format, of the fact that we are imposed tools that are not necessarily desired such as: the "Extension" tool and more recently "list tabs" (Nightly).
I don't want to complain about these examples above specifically, I just want to remind you that users always want to be able to personalize their Firefox and that imposing a format is not a good direction.

(And yes, please put the compact UI option back in the "customize toolbar" menu! Lots of people still have small screens)
